Spider-Man: Far From Home (also known as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home or Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Far From Home) is an American science fiction superhero action film that grossed $1.132 billion over a $160 million budget, becoming the 4th-highest-grossing film of 2019 and the 25th-highest-grossing film of all time. It’s based on the Marvel Comics, and is a sequel to Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame (2019), and is the second film in the Spider-Man trilogy and the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. It’s rated M for action violence (in Australia). The following are the 10 most recent Rotten Tomatoes audience reviews for the film.
One of the better Spider-Man movies. Spider-man vs Mysterio; superhero vs ordinary mortal the outcome was predictable.
It was mostly good. Not really a true red and blue Spider Man movie. It was more like a day in the life of Peter Parker. Anyways that post-credits scene was TERRIBLE! Just retcon it away! It was a Post-credits scene and just let it remain post credit.
I don’t know how Homecoming was so good and this was…not.
I absolutely hated Far From Home. For a regular superhero movie, I guess it would be ok, but this was the movie that directly followed Avengers: Endgame, meaning it carried the responsibility to discuss what happened after the Snap. This movie completely squandered that opportunity. Not only did it make light of the Snap, but the plot was thin, the jokes fell flat, Mysterio was the worst villain, Ned was thrown on the back burner, and the romance was rushed. Why does this movie have 95%???
This is one of the best Spider-Man movies its fun and the actor that plays Spiderman Tom Holland plays the character perfect
Best Spider-Man movie!
The first movie after Avengers: Endgame, Far From Home tells the events after from the perspective of Spider Man and, while not as good as the first movie despite what people say, it’s still a nice film to watch.
Terrible movie that doesn’t understand Spider-Man at all. Feels more like a parody; the character should had been called Ironkid Jr. It gets the whole character wrong; first off he lives in New York not London. Second the romance makes no sense and it happens after she learns of his super-powers; which renders it superficially wrong and devoid of message; MJ is a non-character. Then the whole Ironman Winter Soldier like satellite betrays the ending of Captain America 2: Winter Soldier (and it not being used on the previous film creates a plothole). The whole Alien doppelganger Nick Fury is a garbage convulted plot. Also maybe I took jokes too literal, but from the perspective of the classmate Peter Parker was a douchebag who had underaged sex; he shouldn’t had been mocked for doing the right thing in trying to expose it so he could find counseling. The erasure of Uncle Ben is so bad; I hate how they replaced it with Ironman. Like the whole remorse of Uncle Ben is what made him Spider-man. Also Aunt May is wasted; she provided mothely love and phsychologicall support in the Superior Raimi Trilogy; while this movie reduced her to Happy’s Love Interest comedic relief. And J Jonah Jameson being a douchebag to a kid Peter Parker somehow feels wrong even if bringing back JK Simmons was great. Exposing him to the public is a bad twist because the secret identity has to revert. Wasting time on a so easily reversable plot is a waste of time. The movie freaking introduced shapeshipters seconds after revealing Spider-man identity; so poorly done and weightless. There really isn’t character development. They should had paired him with the reporter girl and used that to develop Peter Parker’s passion for photography by getting him a job in the newspaper. Maybe add a conflicting interest for Science or heroism. Juxtaposed the Ironman death with Uncle Ben. I hate this movie and will never see it again.
Far From Home delivers us an entertaining view of the world post-endgame, and it provides us with some insight of where Peter Parker is left after Tony’s death. The Mysterio hologram scene is visually amazing, Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal do great jobs, and the post-credit scenes are some of the best in the MCU. The constant array of jokes can be slightly frustrating and Tony Stark’s choice to give EDITH to Peter does seem irrational, but overall, and incredible movie.

Oh, really? Have you seen any of the earlier Spider-Man movies? I highly recommend them (Far From Home is the only one I haven’t seen) – especially the original trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire.

Admittedly I’ve never been a Spider-Man fan, but I thought this one was way too annoying.
